Encampment Application

By the end of this application you will need to submit all required forms. Filling out this form should take between 30 and 45 minutes, notwithstanding the time it takes to fill out the required forms.

This is your primary application for Idaho Wing Encampment. It is important to follow the instructions precisely in the application below. We understand that some of the questions are duplicates of those found on the required forms, but they must be answered on this form as well. Any injuries, disabilities, or chronic illnesses, that may prohibit various activities, sustained after the completion of these forms must be reported immediately to encampment staff. All information is strictly kept confidential.

Upon the end of the application deadline, your application will be reviewed and you will receive an email about the status of your application. If your application is approved you will shortly receive reporting instructions, a welcome letter, and a packing list. Please remember to save your confirmation email. You will not be able to update your application without the sent link.

The required forms should be submitted as a PDF document that is either FILLIABLE typed or SCANNED. Please ensure all pages are saved to one file when uploading each form. You can only upload one file per slot at the end of the form.

Food Allergies and Dietary Restrictions

If you have dietary restrictions such as Celiac, vegetarian, other allergies, or religious diets. Please select YES

Medications

It is very important that cadets bringing necessary prescription medication be able to reliably self-medicate. All prescription medication brought to Idaho Wing Encampment is required to be in its original container IAW CAPR 160-1 4-4. Some medications will be kept by the medical staff, at the discretion of the Medical Officer In Charge. If a medication is kept by medical staff, administration times will be managed by the medical staff, but the cadet will self-medicate.

SAFEKEEPING: Any controlled medications will be kept in the Medical Area and locked for safekeeping at the discretion of the Medical Officer in Charge. This is a precaution to prevent theft and/or abuse.

Will you need help with medication reminders or medication safe-keeping? If you answer "yes" to this question, the Medical Officer in Charge will ask for clarification. Self-medication is the responsibility of the participant. Medical staff is available to help cadets remember administration times during this activity as the schedule may not fit the cadet's normal routine.

Transportation: Travel Coordination

We understand you might not have all your travel arrangements in place this early in the slotting process.

We are only interested in your mode of transportation at this time.

If you are accepted, you will be asked to fill out a SEPARATE TRAVEL FORM. Please, keep us informed with the Travel Form so we can help coordinate and accommodate your travel needs.

Financial Information/Assistance

Cadet Encampment Assistance Program

Thanks to Air Force support, CAP has special funding available to cover encampment fees and uniforms with an emphasis on serving economically disadvantaged cadets through the Cadet Encampment Assistance Program or CEAP (say, "seep"). An inability to afford encampment fees should not hold back cadets who want to participate in encampment.

For more information see our national website!

Idaho Wing Scholarships

Thanks to the support of the Idaho State Legislature, Idaho Wing is able to offer scholarships to attend Encampment if members do not receive funding from the Cadet Encampment Assistance Program. This scholarship is only available to cadets who meet in Idaho Wing. An inability to afford encampment fees should not hold back members who want to participate in an encampment.

For more information see our wing website!

Squadron Scholarships

Idaho Wing Encampment is able to accept squadron scholarship payment plans for the Encampment event fees. This is only available for members of Idaho Wing, unless other arrangements are made with the Encampment Commander. An inability to afford encampment fees should not hold back members who want to participate in encampment.
